Thanks Treelo, I should have included that in my original post. They have been doing on-going casting for awhile. Not sure what they are looking for exactly, from what I understand most of the puppeteers and understudies are under contract through July of next year.

I'd curious about this as well...if this is just a "New York" thing or if they may be looking towards various national communities' productions?

EVentually the show would be able to be done by local theatre troups and that's what i'm really excited about because i would be first in line for those auditions - it's one of those shows i was "born to be in" (as many other people on this forum probably are)...with my current financial situation though, i wouldn't possibly be able to do any auditions for New York casting though.

...and of course the moment the score becomes available, i plan on using some selections from it for audition pieces for other shows!

Dude!

If this show ever comes out to LA - I'm auditioning! My arm rod work is a bit sloppy, but who cares!

Has anyone here responded to this post? And if so, has anyone heard anything back?

I responded, but I haven't heard so much as a "No". How long do these things usually take?

A friend of mine from summer camp who has worked for Henson and in various other puppet ventures in the past is currently working on this show. I believe he is a member of the chorus. Here's his IMDb filmography:

Cool. I think Peter is actually an understudy for a bunch of characters including Rod, Brian, Nicky, Trekkie Monster and one of the "Bad News Bears". I've never met him but by all accounts he is supposed to be a great guy!
