Fellow puppeteers, I was wondering how you all do voices for your shows, Live, prerecorded by yourselves, CD's?...
we use CD's but recently we did our own recording of a script we'd gotten, it was a lot of fun!
So I was just wondering what your input would be on (in your opionion) the best way of doing the voices for a show? :sing:

I think live is better because you can improv, but when I used to do live shows the voice tracks were prerecorded. I'm not particularly skilled at voices and I think part of the reason is that I spent the first four years of my career barely doing them. Doing live voices is harder, but I think it makes you a better more well-rounded puppeteer.
