voice changes in Consider Yourself

I just saw the song Consider Yourself on You Tube, and I noticed something. When the Anything Muppets sing, some of them have different voices. It sounds like the brother is now voiced by Bob McGrath, the mother is voiced by Loretta Long, and the uncle is voiced by either Wil Lee or Jerry Juhl.

I wonder why this was done. I guess probably so it would sound like five people singing at once, as opposed to three. I think the speaking lines should have been pre-recorded along with the song. It's a bit odd that Caroll Spinney didn't get to sing in the song.

Yeah, I have noticed this too with many of the early day segments.
