Video: The Dark Crystal Age of Resistance Tactics Coming to Nintendo Switch February 4, 2020

Nintendo just announced the first Jim Henson video game for the Nintendo Switch, The Dark Crystal Age of Resistance Tactics.

Well that’s one way of surprising Dark Crystal fans as I didn’t think we would get something like THAT.

This blew my socks off... did not expect something Henson-related right at the beginning of the Direct.

 

[Telekinesis]

This is proof how much an IP can shine if given enough care and expertise. The series is a smash hit and there’s already a video game in the works. If even a fraction of this effort was applied to The Muppets by Disney, things would be moving in the right direction.

I miss when they made Muppet video games: the late-'90s/early-2000s was hot with the likes of Muppet RaceMania and Monster Adventure; a lot of franchises like them and the Looney Tunes had a resurgence with games and stuff in that era but they're entirely dormant now.
