Hey guys-

So I have an audition on Monday for Little Maestros. I don't know how many of you know what it is, but it's basically a band that plays at kids' classes and birthday parties. I'm really excited!

They told me to bring in an uptempo, upbeat, kid-friendly song. She gave examples like Build Me Up Buttercup and L-O-V-E. But i need some help brainstorming to come up with the perfect song.

So what do you guys think? Muppet or otherwise, what's a good uptempo, upbeat, kid-friendly song that a soprano can reasonably sing?

I know this may seem kinda obvious, but how about

"Sing," by Joe Raposo?

First performed on Sesame Street, and later a big hit for the Carpenters.

Good luck with your audition!

I'm a little tea pot! That What Loretta Long (Susan Robinson) sang when she did her audition for Sesame Street, and the kids loved it!

I'm a little late to help, since the audition was yesterday, but how did it go?
