Oh man, Under the Umbrella tree was SO Canadian. I used to watch it on the CBC all the time! Along with Mr. Dressup, my other childhood hero. :cry:

Bob and Noreen were also heavily involved with Sesame Park (Canadian Sesame Street). I just did a show with Noreen last Saturday for her bursary dinner. Bob was on Pembroke, but her brother Steve was there (he was Jacob). Oh, and you can buy Umbrella Tree DVDs right from her site at

I have them. They are a great addition to any puppet video/DVD collection. It is funny seeing things again through adult eyes. It really had that 80's look.

Yes, Allegra's Window. That was the show I mean. Why did I think it was Amanda's room? Oh well, thanks for the info. Where's a classic kids TV Channel to play this stuff when you need it?
