Woo hoo, I love ask the emperor. That is a great idea. I would like to ask the first question. Who is his favorite villian of all time?

Eagerly waiting response.

awesome work man

Thanks! And thank for the questions. I was thinking of doing a couple sample questions, first (if I do that kind of show at all), like "Which Jedi was the biggest wuss." But if I do it, I'll definitely use the question.

Ok I'm reading this off to the husband to decipher the star wars references for me. He said "wait...if I understand this correctly, they're doing an "ask the emperor show?" (me) "yes" (him) "Ok that's wonderful. But it should have nothing to do with star wars...like..hey emperor, my boyfriend wants to go all the way, but I don't feel right about that, what should I do?"

As I'm typing this he added "and he should do a recruitment video for the Death Star or a stockholder meeting/video"

These are merely the ideas of a man who wishes his wife would either make star wars puppets or go to sleep.

That's a good point, and it'll depend largely on the types of questions (which have so far been of that type) the Emperor gets sent.

I suppose, though, if I were to carry the gag through, I should have Palpatine just imagine the questions, claiming to be retrieving them from the minds of people everywhere. "This is your question: I have seen it."

I think you should have Mumm-Ra from the Thundercats ask the emperor how he keeps his skin looking so young.

I like both puppet concepts. The Emperor puppet looks great. Did you ever build the newscaster?

Thanks! I haven't built the newscaster yet, no, but I will do. (I only just drew him the other day; I was able to whip the Emperor together so quickly because I repurposed a head I'd already built)

As for Mumm-ra, that could work. Hmmmm.

I was unaware of Piotr; I'll have to check it out. The Ask Palpatine gag -- which I'm very surprised hadn't already been done -- came out of a conversation with my little brother, the specifics of which I actually don't recall. It was some mass of Star Wars geekery, whatever it was.
