It was the first one taped, but shows were not necessarily taped in the same order they aired, and in any case shows aired in different orders in different countries.

I wouldn't put too much faith in the TV Tome guide myself. The first time I saw it, they had the John Denver episode listed as the first-aired show, with an air date some three years before the show was actually taped...
