ReBoot season 3 came out in 4 sets in 2000-2001.
ReBoot season 4 came out on DVD in 2004.
ReBoot seasons 1 and 2 came out this past March.

We ReBoot fans are a patient bunch.

Were the Reboot DVD's Canadian exclusives? Somehow I remember seeing some around here, but I don't recall to what extent. When's season 3+4 coming out? The PPG set kinda soured me on any complete series sets...I'm afraid one disk will always be screwed up somehow. And I still didn't manage to grab 1+2 yet.

Both Twin Peaks and Fame had horrendous waits between the release of their first and second season sets...and iirc both were due to changes in contract/ownership issues.
It took five years (2001 vs 2006) for the second season of TP to be released and four years (2005 vs 2009) for Fame's second season...and after two years, no sign of season three being on the horizon (there were six in all) Given the recent movie remake and how it was a total precursor to Glee, i'm amazed it's been as long a wait as it's been.
I SWEAR I posted this last night, but did Fame have numbers that featured outside music? That's the answer right there.

Reboot 3&4 and the Whole Shebang Box Set will be coming out at the end of June. However, reports are they messed up the framerate in conversion from the native PAL to NTSC, and then raised the level of the soundtrack so everything wouldn't sound low and slow. So, the eps are slightly slower and have audio glitches. Sigh. ReBoot has no luck.

The surprise is, they delayed other series sets due to that same reason after they tracked down better masters. The Japanese Transformers sets they're making were delayed due to better tapes... maybe they just couldn;t find better masters in time or something like that. Still want to buy them, though... though again, I'm trying to see if I WANT to risk a complete series set (seriously... all but one episode of PPG worked, and wouldn't you know it was the last one I checked?) or to buy them separately or to just get the last seasons to see all the nasty backhands at ABC they had in the Canadian series.

I just thought of one with a strange twist. In 2005, I bought Season 1 of "Sigmund & the Sea Monsters" released on Rhino (as all of the Krofft shows were at one time). Not too soon after that, Rhino to the best of my knowledge went out of business, so we STILL haven't got a release for Season 2, which was the last. I am hoping it sees the light of day along with the final 2 Seasons of The Muppet Show.

BTW: Vivendi is going to Re-release the first season so I'm guessing a second one will follow in time. They did a complete series or something of H.R. Puffenstuff (mentioned earlier) that came with a bobble head toy.
