This movie did hold up well. I think the only dated thing was in the Kermit-less world when it was pointed out that due to Kermit not being born that most television shows were reality shows. There were a lot of reality shows back then, but I don't think there were as many then as there are now (heck, even back then I think most specialty channels still focused exclusively on their original formats). Ironically, there were many reality shows because Kermit hadn't been born, but he wasn't on TV much at the time... Sesame Street only showed one clip of him a year (and at the time it actually had been a year since Kermit made any kind of appearances on the street, with season 33 not showing him at all), the Muppets didn't have a regular weekly series (though it had been announced that Fox would broadcast something), and all previous Muppet shows weren't being rerun. The majority of Kermit's television apearances were in the occassional guest appearance or commercial (much like now).
