V-tech, shooting is one of the worst things to happen in american history .
It just breaks my heart to watch the coverage on tv .
We just don't seem to be safe anywhere anymore it seems for school the same thing happened at a college in England several years ago .

i could not belive that when i read about that but what is the world coming to is all that i can say about that .
It just breaks my heart for the families of the victums .

NBC news made matters worse for the entire thing by making public the video that the sooter made that is so sad because the families said so about that .
shame on NBC.

i am praying for all the victums and there friends and familes

God bless them all

That might be similar to Bob the Cucumber's killing spree in the Drawn Together episode, "Clum Babies".

My theory on that is that if NBC didn't show it(They went to the authorities first before anything else) and other networks knew about it, it would have eventually gotten out. Just like the Columbine tapes, they would've gotten out eventually, maybe not right after that, but sometime in the future, and i think that it's better to live that now while it's still fresh, then to rehash it months or so into the future and show what was shown. That would have just been another dagger into the heart of the families. But, the ones now will heal, the ones that are there because of the shooting would've been reopened because of this heartless SOB.

As tragic as this was lets not forget our college age soldiers in Iraq. Many of these soldiers (over 2000) have been killed in terrible ways and are constantly under threat of crazy people just like in Virginia. If we all reacted with the sarrow and attention daily like the v-tech shootings perhaps we could get our troops home sooner. Ifeel that Iraq is a tribal country and they like it that way,so be it.

Kenny Alphin — Big Kenny of country's ultra-hot Big & Rich duo — is near tears when speaking about the tragedy of 33 lives lost at the hands of a deranged gunman at Virginia Tech last week. "It tears me up that this could happen. Half my family went to that school. My parents met there," says the eighth-generation Virginian. "It messes me up, man. It's spiritual warfare, what we have, but we have to continue to shine the light.

Anyone who has the power of the spotlight or the pen can remind people, we need to keep it shining for the good."

Still, Alphin insists he has no trouble switching his focus from the heartbreak back to music and performing: "I refuse to let it take my joy. I've got a wonderful family and great friends, a bunch of advisers and four ministers around me, helping me keep it all even. And we know, as low as we're willing to reach, we've got to jump just as high."
