Here's what they should do to improve SS:

-Using classic clips
-Bringing back Guy Smiley
-Bringing back Benny Rabbit
-Bringing back Grungetta
-Bringing back Kermit
-Bringing back Forgetful Jones
-Give The Count some more things to do(other than the "Number of the Day" segments)
-Getting rid of Hero Guy

How about:

Bringing back Chris and the Alphabeats
Bringing back Little Jerry and the Monotones
Bringing back all the rock parodies
Bringing back Sherlock Hemlock
Bringing back Sam the Robot
Bringing back the original Baby Bear with Goldilocks
Bringing back Don Music
Bringing back Monsterpiece Theater
Bringing back Kermit News
Bringing back the original adventures of Super Grover
Bringing back Grover the Waiter
Bringing back Alphabet Chat
Bringing back the Pinball Number Count series
Bringing back the Typewriter Guy
Bringing back all the old characters!

Put the show back the way it used to be!!!!!

I agree with you all the way, Sseta! (esp. on the rock parodies and Monsterpiece Theater!) I remember all those segments you mentioned (except "Alphabet Chat") from when I was a little boy. Ah, such memories :sigh:. Those were ALL really good.

i dont even know if i like the format of modern day sesame street, i havent watched it since the mid ninetys, but even if they do change the show and bring back alot of old characters, i know i wont be watching it. :attitude: :grouchy:

i also know im not the only one out there whos not interested in seeing old characters in new segments, id much rather watch repeats of the old episodes. no tv show can go on forever maintaining that same appeal it had in the beginning, they have to wind up eventually, right?

basically, i dont think we can hope for anything as good as we remember, i say we just be thankful for all those episodes that jim gave us. treasure 'em if you got 'em.

Ouch! I like Frazzle though. He would have probably been better in TMS skits as opposed to SS though....
