Don't know if anyone's ever seen this before or anything, but in searching through the Internet, I ran across this interesting site. http://www.progressiveboink.com/archive/sesamestreet.html

The guy posting lists his top 25 Sesame Street memories, all of which I remember well. There's some great pictures with each one on the list, as well as a few bonus downloads here and there. (A "Yip Yip" aliens sketch and the Teeny Little Superguy theme song!)

Anyone else remember Billy Joe Jive? I used to love that little detective cartoon sketch.

I have to agree with most things on that list. Billy Joe Jive gets a thumbs up cuz it's just so perfect for that 70's period. Little Super Guy...I liked him, but I don't know about him on the top 20. Maybe it had more to do with the cool animation that was involved. Nice to see he included Mr.Hooper's death and Snuffy's coming out party. Captain Vegetable receives the sentimental vote as it's one of my daughter's favorite SS songs. Love the pinball count sequence and how he captions under the skeleton, "Twe...***!?"

I've seen this link before; not sure if it was one I stumbled across on while searching for SS stuff on yahoo or from someone else. But another good find, GonzoLeaper. And it gives some younger members here who wish to see the older stuff some good photos of classic scenes. Love that old 1970 look of Bert, for instance, in the sandbox skit!

He' so uptight, isn't he? Poor guy! I love that look, too.
