Um- I love tons of songs and artists so I don't know that I could really narrow it down to 10- obviously I love all the Muppet songs, so I'm glad we got that out of the way....

I'll make a try of 10 favorite songs that I like- but definitely not my only favs...

Well, I love tons more songs- most everything in the Baptist hymnal and Christmas carols and some more secular artists like some of The Beatles and The Beach Boys and some 80s music like Billy Joel and Huey Lewis and the News....
but I'm all over Christian rock!
Those are some of my current favorites anyway, along with some classics...

Wow - I'm surprised that Pete Seeger would be so down on Bruce's "Mary don't you weep." Wonder why he didn't like it?

I like "Erie Canal" a lot too - it's cool to hear such a hip version of this song that I learned in elementary school. "Pay me my money down" and "John Henry" are also standouts. I love the whole New Orleans jazz influence on the folk standards in this album.

He didn't really explain why.. and he also said he wished they'd done more serious songs, which they did do in concert.... and, yeah, anytime you can get a brass section doing folk standards, it's just freaking cool

Hmm, is this top ten of all time? Because my top ten of the minute changes... well, every minute. But I'll give it a try:

Yeah... I think I'm okay with that list. I'll say that K.T. Realistically, there are some classical pieces and Christmas songs that probably belong on that list as well.
