So today in my blog I wrote about a new DVD called Fifteen Minutes. You can read the post, but basically I said that I thought it was really well done, but really too much like the Muppets.

I know we all love the Muppets (this is Muppet Central after all) but the question that I wanted to throw out to the group was at what point does stuff become too Muppety? What do people think about that?

hmmm... maybe if it is done as a tribute....kind of like a cover band then it would be fine...imitation is the best form of flattery.... but if it is just stealing ideas...that is another matter.

Well, really because the Muppets have covered so much territory and styles and designs of puppets it's going to be hard to find a new way to do somethign that doesn't seem Muppety, so I don't even try to NOT seem Muppety. After all, they got it right!

Seriously, though. I just do things that entertain me and if someone else gets entertained by it good.
