Cool! I saw the whole 1979 appearance at The Paley Center for Media once, you can tell they were at the real height of their popularity. You can feel the excitment from audience, hehe.

What I like is that there was adult humor (late night TV after all), but not outright filthy.

Thanks. Unfortunately, this is not the episode I thought it was. I saw an episode several years ago (I think it was the Tonight Show) with Jim Henson and Kermit, before he was a frog. It was so funny, and I would love to see it again. I will continue my quest.
