This is my first Muppet Show Outline. This outline is during Season 3 between Liberace and Marisa Bergeson (taping wise. Let's say filming began 4/12/1978.) Airing wise, between Loretta Lynn and Alice Cooper (airdate: 10/28/1978). Let's begin with my own slate.
THE MUPPET SHOW

Scooter: Paul McCartney, Paul McCartney, 15 seconds 'till curtain Mr. McCartney.
Paul: Thank you Scooter.
(door almost closes until..)
Hey scooter.
Scooter: Yes?
Paul: Is there anything that I need to know about yet?
Scooter: No, sir.
Paul: Are you sure?
Scooter: Positive.
Paul: OK. Thanks.
(Scooter leaves)
Paul: Never argue with a normal person and/or an idiot - folks might not be able to tell the difference.
(drum roll)
Kermit: It's The Muppet Show with our special guest star, Sir Paul McCartney! YAAAAAYY!
(theme plays.
STATLER AND WALFORF'S PART
Statler: How much longer can we take this?
then Gonzo slips and falls before he can blow his Trumpet.)

Kermit: Thank you, Thank you. Hi Ho and welcome again to The Muppet Show. Tonight we have an amazing show lined up for you all.
Statler: You say that every week.
Waldorf: Yeah, when can you get off the stage?
Both: DO HO HO.
Kermit: Good grief. Anyway, tonight is one of the biggest shows that we have ever had. In our opinion at least because tonight, we have the Former Beatle himself and lead singer of Wings, Sir Paul McCartney!
(audience: ooh!)
Yes! Right now, we are going to start off with a (Crazy Harry comes out)... never mind. (then Kermit turns around and finds Crazy Harry) Will you get out of here harry? Anyway, let's get the show rolling.

(Miss Piggy and Pigs perform "Rivers of Babylon" which is set on a river in Italy and the Pigs are riding along the river)
Statler: Well, what did you think?
Waldorf: I hated it.
Statler: Good. Same for me.

Kermit: OK, well done guys.
Piggy: Aw, thank you Kermie.
Kermit: I would always support someone like you.
Piggy: Everyone supports moi.
Kermit: True, true.
(door opens)
Paul: What about me?
Kermit: Hey, it's out guest star. Sir Paul McCartney!
(audience cheers)
Piggy: You mean. THE Paul McCartney? The Former Beatle?
(Then, she realizes it and faints)
Kermit: Someone call an ambulance.
Paul: Is she alright?
Kermit: I'm sure she is. With meeting someone so famous as you, there's no way she wouldn't faint.
Paul: Come over here Kermit.
(he walks to where Paul is)
Paul: A lot of teenage girls used to faint when I was with The Beatles.
Kermit: I'm sure some still do to this day.
Paul: I'm sure.
Kermit: No one has fainted from meeting me yet.
(A whatnot comes over, looks at Kermit, and then faints)
Paul: Never underestimate the process of fainting.
Kermit: Yep. That's true.
(Kermit leaves)
Paul: For every person with a spark of genius, there are a hundred with ignition trouble.
(laughter, then applause)

Kermit: Well, it's now time to introduce our guest star. He was the former Beatle member and now he is the lead singer of Wings. Ladies and gentlemen, Sir Paul McCartney!
MUSICAL NUMBER: BAND ON THE RUN
The Setting is in a jailhouse. For the first part of the song (about 2 minutes long), Paul is sitting there thinking about what he has done. Then, in the second part, the pigs (including Miss Piggy) are the rest of the prisoners. Piggy performs part of the song with Paul. Then, the songs comes to an end.
(applause, cheering, and whistling)

Statler: Wow, that Paul McCartney is amazing.
Waldorf: Yeah, but we can't say that about The Muppets.

Kermit: OK, fantastic job pigs. (then piggy comes out) Oh Oh, Miss Piggy?
Piggy: Yes Kermie?
Kermit: That was a wonderful performance. Same goes for you Paul.
Piggy & McCartney: Thanks Kermit.
(Kermit leaves)
Piggy: Sir McCartney?
Paul: Yes piggy?
Piggy: Do you wanna come see moi's dressing room?
Paul: Of course I do.
Piggy: Wonderful. Follow moi.
(piggy leads Paul to Piggy's dressing room)
Paul: Wow. This is amazing.
Piggy: Sure is.
Paul: Not as great as mine though.
Piggy: Duh, you're our guest star.
Paul: Yeah, but I customized it just for me.
Piggy: Oh, oh. can moi see it?
Paul: Sure. Follow me.
(Paul leads Piggy to his now customized dressing room)
Piggy: Oh, wow! This is amazing!
Paul: I even liked it when I finished it.
Piggy: I'll go tell Kermit.
(Piggy leaves)
Paul: I never knew a pig would have this much excitement.
(laughter)
Piggy: Oh, kermie?
Kermit: Yes Piggy?
Piggy: I have a surprise for you.
Kermit: Not now, I have to go introduce Fozzie.
Piggy: Maybe after?
Kermit: Maybe.

Kermit: Ladies and gentlemen, it's time now to introduce that fuzzy furryman himself. Mr. Fozzie Bear!
Fozzie: Thank you, thank you, and thank YOU! Boy, we have a good crowd tonight.
Statler: Maybe, but that doesn't compare to your act.
(laughter)
Fozzie: (mutters) Aw, gee. Here we go again.
(laughter)
Fozzie: I've just started! Anyway, How much does it cost a pirate to pierce his ears? A buck an ear.
(audience boos)
Fozzie: You guys aren't fair! Ok, ok, Why did the cop pull over the Baker? He smelt the donuts.
(audience boos more)
Fozzie: I guess I'm not funny after all.
(Fozzie leaves)

Kermit: Gee, they must really hate you out there.
Fozzie: Yeah, it's not fair.
Kermit: Well, audiences have opinions.
Fozzie: To me, they have the same opinion. Boo, boo ,boo. That's all.
Kermit: Well, maybe you can practice more.
Fozzie: I've done that.
Kermit: I can't come up with anymore ideas, but I'll help you along the way.
Fozzie: Thanks. I knew I could trust you.
(Fozzie hugs Kermit and vice versa. Then, fozzie leaves.)
Piggy: Oh kermie.
Kermit: Right. I'm coming.
(Piggy & Kermit knock)
Paul: Come in.
(Piggy & Kermit come in)
Piggy: Hello, Sir paul.
Paul: Hello, Piggy. Hello, Kermit.
Kermit: Wow. I love this!
Paul: Thank you Kermit. Made it myself.
Kermit: I see that. By the way, can you take this stuff down after the show?
Paul: Yep. Sure will.
Kermit: Thanks.
(Kermit leaves)
Paul: Miss Piggy?
Piggy: Hmm?
Paul: I'm a huge fan of yours.
Piggy: Aww. Thank you. I am a huge fan of your music.
Paul: Thanks.
Piggy: I've met so many famous stars over the years, but not as famous as you.
Paul: I'm sure everyone's thinking that.
(Piggy leaves)
Paul: It's amazing what they do. Then again, they're thinking the same about me.
(door knocks)
Paul: Come in.
(door opens)
Scooter: 20 seconds 'till curtain, Sir McCartney.
Paul: Thanks Scooter.
(Scooter exits)
Paul: It's the opening of the show all over again! How lovely!
(laughter, then applause)

Kermit: It's now time to introduce the weirdo himself, ladies and gentlemen, The Great Gonzo!

Gonzo: Thank you, thank you. Ladies and gentlemen, tonight before your very eyes, you will see me, The Great Gonzo, ride this dirt bike, over the audience and out the door. Not that I'm leaving for good or anything.
(laughter)
Ok, here we go.
(Gonzo starts the dirt bike, then flies out of the studio, but the doors are locked and he crashes.)
(laughter)
Gonzo: Well, that didn't work.
Statler: Well, that failed.
Waldorf: Yeah, just like the other acts that he has done.
Both: Do ho ho ho.

(Paul, Floyd, and Janice enter)
Dr.Teeth: Hey Hey Hey, the legendary Beatle himself Paul McCartney.
Paul: It's amazing to meet you guys.
Janice: Like, let me introduce you to the rest of the band. Like, we've already mentioned Floyd, myself , and Dr.Teeth.
Floyd: Up there on the drums, that's animal.
Animal: PAUL MCCARTNEY! PAUL MCCARTNEY!
Floyd: Calm down Animal.
(animal calms down)
Paul: I've seen drummers crazier than that.
(laughter)
Paul: Do you guys want to perform something?
MAYHEM Band: YES!
Paul: OK.
MUSICAL NUMBER: MEDLEY: HEY JUDE/ SILLY LOVE SONGS/ REVOLUTION
(The Electric Mayhem band performs about 3 minutes of "Hey Jude". Then about a minute of "Silly Love Songs", Then a minute and 15 seconds (the ending) of " Revolution.

Paul: It's amazing to meet you guys.
Janice: Like, let me introduce you to the rest of the band. Like, we've already mentioned Floyd, myself , and Dr.Teeth.
Floyd: Up there on the drums, that's animal.
Animal: PAUL MCCARTNEY! PAUL MCCARTNEY!
Floyd: Calm down Animal.
(animal calms down)
Paul: I've seen drummers crazier than that.
(laughter)
Paul: Do you guys want to perform something?
MAYHEM Band: YES!
Paul: OK.
MUSICAL NUMBER: MEDLEY: HEY JUDE/ SILLY LOVE SONGS/ REVOLUTION
(The Electric Mayhem band performs about 3 minutes of "Hey Jude". Then about a minute of "Silly Love Songs", Then a minute and 15 seconds (the ending) of " Revolution.

(Miss Piggy enters)
Piggy: Oh, Sir McCartney, I have had the best time with you. I think you have been one of the best guest stars we've ever had.
Kermit: At least we didn't have any bacon in it.
(laughter. Piggy gets mad. You all know what's next.)
Piggy: HHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIYYYYYYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!
(Kermit falls. Then, gets up.)
