Interesting! I don't suppose you made recordings? :-D
Unfortunately not. CanWest were aired them on weekday mornings at 7am (originally 7.30am) and they were heavily cut as well. After I'd taped them I usually just went and dubbed over them. There hasn't been a free-to-air screening of TMS in New Zealand since about Jan. 1998.

I forgot to add these in the category of "alternate endings"...

Julie Andrews - The goodnight goes on a bit longer, as Julie asks Kermit and Fozzie if they've seen her cow (this happens while the credits roll). She describes it as having "lovely big brown eyes with lashes" before declaring "But it was here when I came in." After that, the next shot is of Floyd playing the bass as per usual in the end credits.

Loretta Lynn - Alex and I should have pointed out earlier that the band play an off-key version of the end theme, with Rowlf declaring at one stage "No wonder this sounds bad, we're playing a timetable!" The Trumpet player is a chicken and does Nigel conduct the band at the end or is it the Conductor from the start?

More later...I have to return to my day job.
