I was just wondering why "Tales of the Tinkerdee" only existed as a pilot and was not bought by a network.

IDK... Apparently they made another pilot, The Land of Tinkerdee, which also wasn't picked up.

These things just happen. There are a billion pilots shot every year and only so many time slots available, right?

Did Jim Henson ever talk about this pilot in any interviews that he participated in?
