I thought this thread would be a nice contrast to "Pet Peeves", where we can talk about things that make us HAPPY! (Yes, I admit, this thread is shamelessly stolen from the old BBB forum!)

So, things that make me go YAY:
Having my puppy, Lady, climb in my lap & lick my face
Finding EXACTLY what I want at a store
Curling up w/a good book
Chocolate. Chocolate DEFINITELY makes me go yay!
Christmas music
Mint chocolate chip ice cream. MUCH yayness there!
When a friend runs up to me & gives me a big, happy hug!
Comfy shoes. MAJOR yayness.
Watching a REALLY good movie.
Making fun of a REALLY BAD movie. Especially w/friends.
Pajama days
Clothes fresh out the dryer
Seeing/hearing from an old friend you lost touch with.

OK, that's enough for now!

Lots of things, but I'm too tired to come up with a list right now. So I'll start with one that's already been taken. Christmas music! They've been playing it on the mall radio along with the regular music, which itself is nice, but hearing all that Christmassy music just makes me feel all warm and cheerful. And now that my voice is almost back after a persistent cold, I can even sing along when no one is listening.

Here's what I can think of for now:

-Opus the penguin's recent return to the funny pages.
-Getting packages in the mail (especially if I've been waiting a long time for them).
-Watching Sesame Street Muppet skits made between 1969-1989.
-Watching good animation in a theater.
-The radiant presence of my newfound companion, a lovely female named Ronna.
-The joy of looking forward to the both of us going to see Eric Idle's "Greedy B*st*rd Tour" at the Flint Center on the 12th - the day after our last final exam.

Well I usually don't go yay, I sort of make a squeeky howling noise and get a lot of weird looks.
