I just usually vent out my thoughts inside my head or outloud when there's no one around to hear me.

I keep a journal. Actually I started it when I was 8. I'm up to my sixth Journal. I think it's helpful for writing my thoughts. It's really interesting looking back over the years and seeing what I thought then to what I think now.

I always drawl a blank if a teacher wants me to keep one, but when inspiration hist, it's easy. It's just comes flows form the inside. I have a harder time doing things when ever somebody want me to do them because it just feels like it is forced. But when I get the urge to do it, like say do the dishes, LOL, It just comes naturally. It doesn't take much though. I drawl a blank when put on the spot. So not a big fan of surprises depending on what they are exactly.

:embarrassed: I never could keep a good journal. I either got so detailed it consumed too much time and prevented me from experiencing things to write about or I spent too much time experiencing things to write about them in my journal. That and my initial "outing" happened at 17 years old when my private journal was violated!

I used to be sad that I could never keep a good record of my life until looking through some old sketchbooks and rough portfolio books I had patched together. Much of the images contained cartoon characters inspired by people in my life and then it dawned on me - that was my journal! It was just took a different form. :wisdom:

There are many things I do to keep my day in line. Instead of making it a rigid structure I prefer to think of them as "beats" to be hit during my day. Excercise, regular meals (trust me it's important when you get older), solid night's sleep, 20 minutes of quiet time, a bit of organization and making someone else feel good are some of the main ones I hit. Oh, and I don't do much dairy either. That and I'm a vegetarian with a corn allergy. That's part of why beats have to be in place. Corn is in everything - especially vegetarian things!
