Things I remember and Want

Well 1st thing is 1st I was born in Canada but live in the US now. So I saw all the Canadian shows of Sesame Street with the French segments instead of Spanish. So some of the things you all may not know.

But neutral things I remember and want is the Train who was in to the letter J. J-J-J-J-J J-J-J-J JUNK! he said at the end when he crashed

Also a very old one was some teens singing on the street the lead was black maybe they all were I can't remember but they were singing a song I think called Cool? No instruments just the varrying voices.

Also the French stuff like Jeffem (spelling) means I love you.

Or the "Sometimes I like to get away, All by myself" song with the kid playing around at the playground.

Really just tons of the video segments and songs were the best. How can I start to assemble these things?

Because in Canada, we have two official languages, English and French(although a lot of Canadians only speak one or the other). Spanish is not as predominent here. Sesame Street aired on CBC here in Canada. And it only aired the Canadian version(which was pretty much the same as the American version except for French inserts) The only way to see the American version, was if you got PBS on cable. A few years ago, they changed Sesame Street to Sesame Park(which removed the American street segments altogether). And then they removed it all together from it's schedule, so now the only way to watch Sesame Street is on cable.

well i'm not suprised at that. but still 1 shouldn't be a substitute for the other. and look at Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood. while Chef Brocketts helper Jpse in Spainsih he has a French puppet in the Neighborhood of Make Believe named Grampare.

Actually, despite having heard Maria and Luis speak spanish on the street segments, it wasn't until I caught an episode on American television while on vacation in the States that I realized they did Spanish inserts instead of French ones. I guess as a kid, it never occured to me there would be a different version of Sesame Street for the US as it was for Canada.
