I was pretty much just in the ensemble, but I was Lady Beatrice so I got to do some Spanish Panic solo dancing. It was neat.

I would have killed to play Princess Fred, though.

It's short for Winnifred, but everyone calls her Fred. They sing a lovely little song that starts out, "I'm in love with a girl named Fred..." and is one of the best group numbers ever!

I have a deep need to play either female lead in Guys and Dolls because I am obsessed. I really want to play Sky, but sadly I have two x chromes.

I want to do Hello Dolly again and play dolly again because I was too younge to appreciate it before.

I want to be in Kiss me Kate.

I also, tragically, wrote a character in my own play for myself (Fata Morgana) and WAS NOT ALLOWED TO PLAY IT *insert bitterness here*. I want to do that.

I also want to be in every show i ever directed esp Joined at the Head but whatever.....

I would LOVE to be Maria in Sound of Music, Peter Pan, or Cinderella. Maria most of all, though. Of course, I've never been able to manage even getting *in* a musical...

and im going to be an assistant stage manager on The Secret Garden at the beginning of next semester. Over the next year I'll be working on getting more experience so I can stage manage my own show in spring 2005 I wish I could do more acting here though because thats what I love the most!!!

Well, Nathan's audition was today. It sounds like it went pretty well. They did private auditions, which kinda surprised me. Nathan sang "If I Were a Rich Man," and they cut him off just before the part where Tevye sings about filling his yard with noisy poultry. I don't think Nathan minded too much since his voice is still a little bit sore and the squawking is still a little hard on him. Everyone who went in to audition today got to audition, so tomorrow's round will probably be pretty small, just people who had a conflict today. Wednesday is call-backs for the major roles. The bad part - the teacher said he probably won't decide on all the roles until after Christmas! That's really lousy having to wait so long. I would think he would have enough time to figure it out. The anticipation is going to kill us!

The Hammondsport School allows home-schoolers to join their drama club, so I've been thinking of joining that.

Henry Higgins - My Fair Lady
Scarecrow, Tin Man, or the Cowardly Lion - The Wizard of Oz
Anybody Dick Van Dyke played - Bye-Bye Birdie, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Mary Poppins
Any part in Singin' in the Rain (preferably one of the two male leads)
Captain Hook - Peter Pan
Audrey II or the Dentist - Little Shop of Horrors

And I'd just love to write and perform in some of my own plays. That'd be cool. I have a friend who just recently did that for her school. They called it Mad Feaste, I think...
