It's great there are lots of people on the forum - the problem is yes, there are too many threads ....... that are completely un-Muppet related. People, please remember it's a forum dedicated to Henson and the Muppets. It has always been fine to start the occasional non-muppet thread in the general discussion, friends and family sections but it's not just a place to go mad and post about anything that comes into your mind every single second (like what you had for breakfast, that your wife has a doctors check up next week, that you ate a peanut that looked like Hulk Hogan etc etc). If you've come here you must like the Muppets, so the idea is that you contribute to the Muppet threads just as much as any others. Otherwise it wastes bandwidth and makes the forum cluttered and hard for anybody to find the Muppety threads. It's always a good idea to think before you post, and also, if at all possible, to continue an existing thread rather than start a new one if what you are posting will fit in.

Yeah and the problem is that some people like to share EVERYTHING about their non-Muppet lives and the truth of the matter is that NOBODY CARES, unless it's something actually interesting. If there are too many threads like this then it's hard for anyone to find the on-topic stuff and makes the place look like a kids playground.

I'm with Luke on this one. Although I come here everyday it is really appalling at the lack of Muppet information. I used to come here to see what was new happening in the world of Jim Henson. Now that is rare. For instance when the Muppet stamps came out there was very little discussion about them compared to in the past.

that you ate a peanut that looked like Hulk Hogan
P.S. It wasn't Hulk Hogan. It looked like the Crusher. :zany:

I can't believe this... I always love it when so many people are here, it makes the forum more fun, and there are lots of new threads to read, but lately...it's been a little TOO busy!!! Too many new threads, too many new posts, too many people on at once, IT'S A MAD-HOUSE!!!
You know, there was a really bad Madonna tribute band called Mad'House. They were awful
