Well you see it started out Just Mr. Hooper, for the first 2 seasons, I think Mr. Hooper decided he was too old to run the store all by himself so in 1971 he hired Tom to help him out in the store. Tom was gone in a year and I think it was 1972 when David started helping Mr. Hooper out and ran the store when he was away. things stayed Pretty much the same for the next 11 years then Mr. Hooper died in 1983 and David was left to run the store by himself. This made him very busy and overworked, but he stuck it out in honor of his deceased friend Mr. Hooper. Then 4 years later he decided to put a want ad out for the store to hire someone new. After Oscar, Merhyl Sheep, and the Amazing Mumford didn't work out, He decided to hire Gina, who was new to the street at the time. Gina and David worked together for 2 years, then David went to live with his Grandmother to help out on the farm, and a new guy Mr. Handford came in and took David's place. Things remained the same with Mr. Handford and Gina until 6 years later in 1995 when Gina left Hooper's Store and Opened up her own Daycare Center. When Gina left Carlo took over as Mr. Handford's Helper. Carlo worked in the store for the next 3 years. Then in 1998 Mr. Handford and Carlo were both gone. And the Store turned Blue and Alan took over. and Alan has been working there by himself for the past 5 years. BTW Hooper's store is now Red beggining in 2002.

Just thought people would appreciate this info.

I have a theory that Gabi and Miles will eventually be together as a couple.. anyone else agree?

You rarely see Susan and Gordon together. As these actors get older, it makes sense to see the next generation. Otherwise why would they have kept the same Gabi and aged Miles (as opposed to casting new younger characters)?
It's funny...but I thought of the same thing as far as Gabi & Miles go.
Granted I don't watch Sesame Street anymore. But I think that it'd be pretty nice to see those two together.
