Okay, folks.

Let's say there was going to be a new prime time comical show involving puppets. A Sketch show type of thing, if you would. NOT A NEW MUPPET SHOW - just to make this point very, very clear.

Now producers these days don't like to get crazy with budgets, but let's say a small network, say, the Canadian CBC (they did Fraggle Rock in Toronto) were to launch a smaller scale type of show.

1) What types of puppets and characters would you like to see?
2) What style of humor would work today?
3) What audience would be targeted?
4) What would work, and what wouldn't work?
5) What would the general backdrop or premise be, if any?
6) what type(s) of music would be interesting to use

Serious answers only please. Feel free to post here or PM me!

just my opinion, but any show based solely on info from a focus group is headed for failure,

Really you think so?

i guess comming from the old school, Sesame was more interesting when they were not as worried about Focus group feedback. I feel that it hinders the whole craetive process

Well, I wouldn't say that negativity from 2-3 people constitues this not working out. I just assumed with all of the puppet builders and puppeteers who post here that it may be interesting to get some feedback from fans who are more than just passively involved in the craft.

There are other avenues for me to take than MC.
