You know that bizarre unlicensed My Little Pony fighting game that got a cease-and-desist letter from Hasbro a couple of years ago?

Well, it's being revamped thanks to Lauren Faust with an original plot and characters, and with a cast of a variety of hoofed mammals in place of the ponies. It's supposed to be released within 2017.

I admit, I'm not big on fighting games, but I find sillier fighters like Smash Bros. and this game to be more appealing to me. Maybe because they don't take themselves too seriously (with the subject matter) yet very seriously (with the gameplay depth) at the same time. And I really hope the devs do more than simply have the TFH characters be more than expies of the Fighting is Magic characters and let it be its own thing.
