Dude fought his record company to not release this as a single because he didn't want to be known as a pop master... Neon Indian would later sample it:


Could've written hit songs in his sleep and been as big as Elton John but had a punk attitude at heart, plus he produced way too many great records to have to care.

You will not be disappointed! To me, their sound is a mix of Rush, Tower of Power, Afro-Cuban, and house music. All of their members (about 20 guys on a rotating basis) are phenomenally talented. Their most well-known piece is "Lingus," but they have lots of other amazing tunes like "Xavi," "Sleeper," "Shofukan," "Big Ugly," and "Grown Folks."
