If you could own and schedule your own cable channel, what programs would you put on?
Here is my idea for a regular weekday schedule. I think I might be dreaming too much for a schedule like this, though. It seems like most cable channels these days are owned by companies that only want to broadcast what they own the rights to.
Monday-Friday:
3:00 AM Sesame Street (select episodes from 1969-1978)
4:00 AM The Electric Company
4:30 AM Looney Tunes (mostly black and white, musical, and/ or politically incorrect cartoons)
5:00 AM Crusader Rabbit (4-5 five-minute episodes)
5:30 AM Dinosaurs
6:00 AM The Red Green Show
7:00 AM Sesame Street (select episodes from 1969-1982)
8:00 AM Muppet Babies
8:30 AM Fraggle Rock
9:00 AM Garfield and Friends
9:30 AM Super Mario Bros. Super Show
10:00 AM Alvin and the Chipmunks
10:30 AM Darkwing Duck
11:00 AM a TV special
12:00 PM a movie
