The Two Worst Muppet Moments

What are your two least favorite Muppet moments? Here are mine:

1) The breakup in "TMTM"
2) "Cookies Are A Sometimes Food"

I know the name of the thread is different from the requirements, but I honestly couldn't think of three bad Muppet moments! So, post two or three, I don't care.

I think one of the worst things in the Muppets his the breakup of the 6 core muppets of Kermit, Piggy, Rowlf, Fozzie, Scooter, and Gonzo. Those guys seemed like a good team. Now Rowlf and Scooter are no longer in the team and have been replaced by Animal who belongs better with the Electric Mayhem, Rizzo, and now Pepe who is getting over used.

One of my least favorite moments in Muppet history is Kermit not hosting "Muppets Tonight". :frown: He is your leader, he is your emcee, he is your host. Sorry Clifford.

If it's Muppets in their element, then I agree with unclematt; what were they thinking not making Kermit the host? They tried it once in the pilot of TMS and it didn't work, why try it again?

The other worst Muppet moment was in the "real world": Kermit on the Craig Kilborn show. That was the most embarassing display I've ever seen, I wanted to stop watching the Muppets.

Craig Kilborn was bad, but what about Jon Stewart? That was pretty bad too.

I missed that one, I was still upset over the Kilborn appearance. Was it really bad?

ELMO TAKING OVER SESAME STREET TO MAKE IT MORE "EDUCATIONAL FOR THE PRESCHOOLERS" and never really showing other charters...

*note- I dont think any of us had problems learning and understanding sessame street as a child, why make younger kids stupid? are they trying to compeat with (yikes) Boobaa and Teletubies (booba being the worst of the 2) anyway, im done ranting about it....
