Whatever happened to the roof setting? The last time I'd seen it was in Season 35 when Miles and his band were practicing up there. Honestly, Sesame Street needs more settings, and not just in the sketches.:smirk: Does anyone agree with me on this?

I don't remember seeing the roof too much, though the DVD Sing Along does take place there. I agree, they should use the roof setting more, it's something very charicteristic of the city.

Nothings happen to the roof. It's still there and it will be their when ever the writers decide to put it in the script.

Glad to hear the roof's still around. I'd actually wondered about that, since it seems like they don't go up there much anymore. I do wonder about other sets that used to turn up frequently but now have very little reason to, like the interiors of Bob's and Susan and Gordan's apartments. Plus the library.

Even though the "Around the Corner" cul-de-sac vanished into thin air (actually, as I wrote in another thread, it seems to have been bulldozed and had a big building put in its place, where street used to be), don't they still have the park entrance set?

That have the general park they've always had.

They still do use Susan and Gordon's apartment. Haven't really see the Library sense season 31 or so, but the season premier had something to do with going to the library on August 13th. It's funny, because just like the "Around the Corner" thing seem to vanish into thin air, it seemed to have appeared into thin air when it first showed up, too. And on both occasions, there was no explanation why and everyone acted as if nothing had happened at all. Television for ya.:smirk:
