Phew, I've finally come to the end of this thread!
:busy:

All I can think about currently is the event in January. Awww, it can't be sold out already, can it? I just found out about it last night...
For those who are going, I would definately recomend asking about cameras! The most they can do is say no, right? And it would be a shame to miss out on such an oportunity. Snowball, the same goes about checking the box office to see if any tickets are left. Good luck!

Erin, thanks for the discription of the DVD. That was a beautiful thing to do, making that quilt! But trailer? Where is there a trailer?
:excited: I sent Steve a PM asking about ordering one. Hmmm, maybe I'll drop him an e-mail.

Good news. I was able to book tickets! So to everyone else, don't give up! Does anyone know in which part of Jersey the college actually is? Also, I don't know if anyone else would want to do this, but since a lot of us are going, maybe we should figure out a way that we can all identify each other? Maybe muppet buttons or badges or nametags or something?

Wayne's in north Jersey, Passaic County - it's right across the border from Morris County. I've got a cousin living there.

And yeah, it would be really swell if we all had some way to identify each other at this thing, maybe nametags, or some secret handshake or something.

Glad to hear you'll be coming, Kate! But, yeah, it's like heralde said: double-check with the box office.

Was that Richard doing the voice of the girl? It really sounds like it.

I'm suddenly thinking of that one photo in Jim Henson: The Works. You guys probably know the one: Richard's in the studio, performing Herry for a little blonde girl perched on her mom's lap. Richard looks like he's in his early to mid-twenties, while the girl looks about five, and the caption went something like this: "Always ready to entertain kids, Richard Hunt greets visitors to the set with a Muppet monster."

Yup, because it may say you have tickets, but it's not sure. Well it is...well sort of! :coy: Hehe. I guess I shouldn't make fun, I mean, I never thought such an event would happen!

Yup that was Richard playing the girl. That clip also makes me think it was a sketch very quickly thrown together, lol, but still very nice. Oh yeah I love that photo! I wish I'd been that lucky as a child, lol. Though I wonder how I would have reacted. I was really shy, and those huge Chuckie Cheese things used to terrify me (overactive imagination, lol).

Well, my mom did buy them over the phone, and she spoke to the mannager as well, so I think we're good.
 She says we should have them by Tuesday!
:excited:
