Haha, I think you're right. He's such a cute little troublemaker.
Yeah, that's probably what the other Muppeteers thought...only take away the word "cute."
To paraphrase Jerry Nelson: "Richard was such a bouncy little puppy. We had to squelch him all the time."
And obviously, being dead never stopped Richard from teasing people or making them laugh.

R: Though my acting skills have been kind of stiff lately.
MN: (makes face at bad pun) That joke died on the way down here.
R: Yeah, well, yours didn't stand a ghost of a chance either.
MN: True. It should have followed the doctor's orders: take two aspirin...
R & MN: And call me in the mourning. (there is a comedy club-style drumroll and cymbal clash in the background; R & MN share a high-five and a laugh)

Haha, that's very cute. Let's see, bad jokes... yep, we sure are muppet fans. But see, I love reading the Richard conversations you come up with. I'd try to also, but as I mentioned earlier, I'm nowhere near creative enough.

Well, I find the corny bad ones hilarious. Even if it's only once, not three times like Jim said. The stupid ones just floor me. I was pro'ly the only one who laughed out loud at the "been kind of stiff lately". *Shakes head shamefully*

But Skye's right. Your dialogue is strangely uncanny. I love that "squelch" quote too. It's such an odd image of a puppy being stepped on. Unless I'm crazy, and I'm the only one who sees that...

Haha, well I didn't quite see that. Actually, I was focusing more on the "Richard was such a bouncy little puppy" part because I think that's so freakin' adorable.

Oh, don't get me wrong. I love the corny bad jokes, too. Nothin' else like 'em!

*faints from all the activity*

Man! I never knew this thread would get so HUGE! It's awesome! And cool!! And I love you!

Then, I'll gwab you up like Fwaggles and stick you in a cage!!

*laughs a bit* I've been feeling like Junior Gorg lately. Dumb, imbecilic Gorg.

But, my back dosn't hurt anymore! Yay!! Slept somemore, with Fraggle Rock's behind-the-scenes thing playing, and I slept good. Had another dream during it.

Again, it was a weird dream, as I couldn't actually haven't been there at the time! =D But I was operating a couple of background Fraggles, and I ended up slipping on something backstage, and I believe I blacked out. I came to, with Richard Hunt, Gerry Parkes, and Dave Golez over me.

I opened my eyes, and Gerry leaned over and stroked my hair back gently, looking worried. I remember what he said.

"Are you okay, Sweetie?" He asked. And I responded, "I'm fine, Grandpa."

Really weird huh?

Well hey, we love you for starting this thread!

Yay is right! I'm so glad to hear your back is feeling better! That is a kinda weird dream. Dreaming about working on Fraggle Rock is very cool, though. I think that would've been so much fun.

Yeah, it's a cool thread. Though, I must admit, Swaehb is a bit cooler, what with their Bagels.

Odd dream. Who's Gerry Parkes? Is he actually your grandfather?

Oh heaven's no!! Gerry Parkes is "Doc" from Fraggle Rock. Us/Canadian version at least.

He seems like such a sweet man however. I wouldn't mind having him as a Grandfather. =D

Swaehb has bagels? Well....we've got...uh....radishes! And doughnuts! And piping hot coffee or cocoa! Or ice cold pink lemonade? Got just about anything ya want actually.

*snuggles her Scooter doll while thinking about it.*

Yeah, they have bagels and all, but we have garlic-peanut butter popcorn here. And more activity. I do wonder why it's so quiet over there. And then, of course we have all that other stuff Sara mentioned! And extremely cute Scooter dolls (well, just the one, I guess but, ya know...)

Gerry Parkes does seem cool. He's entertaining.

I was waiting for someone to comment about the RHLC bypassing the SWAEHB in terms of page numbers.
We've got the peanut butter-garlic popcorn...and that might actually work in real life...but I can bring in some bagels here, if you like.

But how about I post you guys some sorbet? We just got a new ice cream maker (Mom's been meaning to get one for years), and I'm going to be making a batch of lemon sorbet tomorrow morning. I've got the lemon juice and sugar syrup ready and waiting in the fridge; all I need to do now is pour it into the machine and churn it.
