Thanks, Sara. That clip is great! I'm a musician, so I can also see where Don was coming from. He was a very cool character!

*sigh* Speaking of Richard's voice and his singing characters and everything, I watched the Mummenschanz episode of TMS again yesterday after having not watched it in a while, and... geez, how amazing is Mr. Bassman! I had forgotten just how great that song is. I think I listened to it three or four times in a row. It's awesome. Jerry sounds so cool, and Richard is just perfect. Love it, love it, love it.

Have you ever watched a skit that has Scooter singing? And then cried, after you like backtracked it enough?

Well, when I was watching Simon Smith and His Amazing Dancing Bear, on the 6th time I backtracked to watch it yet again, I started to cry halfway through it. I don't know why, but I did. It was just....wow.

I felt like my heart was cracking a little. It's strange. Hmm. Just thought I'd share it with ya'll.

Yeah. That sketch is why I love that song. Jerry's really great at bass voices, and Richard's light tone works perfect for the young character in the song. The band ain't half bad either.

No Richard dreams in forever. Stevie, however, makes his way in there every night this week. If that's supposed to be some kind of symbolism, I'm not getting it.

Oh, totally. Of course with Saying Goodbye. I still cry at that. And also when they sang Just One Person, cause I knew...you know...what was coming. And I started crying once at "There's a New Sound" but then I realized how weird it was that I was crying at such an nuisance of a song, and started laughing instead. *Shrugs*

Oh I always tear up on Saying Goodbye. Just One Person...oh yeah, I'm actually bawling at that song.

Well I had a dream eariler this morning. A...really simple one actually.

I was a gofer for the muppeters, and I was getting them coffee, or getting other things they needed. Bringing puppets that sort of thing. It was when they were doing Fraggle Rock actually. I was sitting on the couch in the green room, talking with Dave, and Jerry about something. I think I was also an assistant for second hand on a live puppet perhaps. Maybe it was Madame Heap? I don't know. Then they had to go, as they needed them for taping again. Richard came into the green room, and all of a sudden laid down on the couch, and came close to laying his head on my lap! O_O

I asked if he was okay, he said really tired, but he'd be cool once he got back to his apartment and slept some. He sat up on the couch, and looked over at me, smiling his gap-toothed smile. He asked me how I put up with this stuff day in and day out. I just told him I love to help ya'll, and it's very enjoyable work. He smiled again, and gave me a hug. And not a quick hug either, a nice long "snuggly" hug. In the middle of the hug, was Jerry, Dave, and Steve all standing in the doorway; singing in their respective Fraggle voices:

"Richard and Sara, sitting in a tree; K-I-S-S-I-N-G!"

Then Richard proceeded to shout "Ooh, FWAGGLES!!" And chase them out of the room, and down the hall, to them shouting panicked like Fraggles.

Then I woke up, and started laughing at the aburdsity of the dream.

Awww. Sara, you're so lucky. How do you get dreams like that?! Any tips at all?

Accurate vision of Steve, Dave, and Jerry too. Sounds just like em.

See...I always have Richard on my mind. Almost constantly. I'd unfortunately be the type of person, that if I ever went insane, and he was still alive, I'd probably become a stalker of him. I'd do anything to meet him.

My room is pitch dark black, and I always sleep with muppet music playing on my radio. I always say goodnight to Jim and Richard. And I give my Scooter doll a hug, or a kiss; sometimes both, and I give Jim and Kermit (my Apple "Think Different" educational-sized poster) a nod, before I go to bed.

I also have a tendency to tell myself stories, before I go to bed. Sometimes, I find out that I'm Richard's daughter! And he's still alive, and we have the best time, just enjoying each other's company. Or sometimes he isn't, and I meet the other muppeters, and we talk about him, and they tell me he loved me, and that he didn't want to give me up.

Sometimes, I'm just a fan, working for Jim. A new person. Occasionally I'm a 5th Henson that no one knew of. I always tell myself a story before I go to bed, unless I'm absolutely exhausted. It sets my mind before I sleep.

Hey everyone! *is a little embarassed after not coming here for so long.*
Sarah, what an amazing dream! I'll PM you about it once I've had some sleep myself. Did you just have the dream, wake up in the middle of the night and come here to tell us about it? Also, what muppet music do you listen to at night? I have one muppet CD, and I don't think that would be enough to sustain me while I sleep. Other than that, all I have is the computer, which is impractical because of the humming and the screen.
Second, MBM, if you can remember, and if you don't mind, I'd like as much detail as you can give about those Steve dreams! Funny, "It's a Circle" is playing now as I'm typing this.

Talk to you all later,
Kate
