Yeah Double Dare was fun, I liked the final challenge the best with all the different obstacles. They had to find the flag underneath the big pile of goo. I used to have the Double Dare home game, which was great, but it didn't come with any slime!

I remember the home game. I love the final challenge, too. Kind of like a disgusting obstacle course, haha! Of course slime was sold seperatly, haha!

I also use to like "Guts" a whole lot, too!

Thanks for the information about the shows, Will! I never got the chance to see shows like this *sigh* but I always wanted to! I've been much more familiar with Double Dare than with What Would You Do. Those shows sound so crazy! And like so much fun!

Haha, how awesome that Double Dare had a home game. That does sound like a fun time!

I've always wanted the home game back when the show was on.:frown:

I'm sorry that you never got to see them, Carrie honey! But your right that they were a lot of fun!

Yeah, Double Dare was the more popular show. It was around a little more in the golden age of that channel then "What Would You Do" was.

I do wish that they would have more creative stuff like that on now-a-days.:smirk:

What Would You Do was good too, I can't get the song out of my head now!

Guts was alright, I usually zoned out during most of it, I wasn't that into action and stuff. But I always thought it was funny how they kept changing the name of the final obstacle. First it was the Aggro Crag, then the Mega Crag, and then the Super Aggro Crag!

There was another Nick game show that was on years before, called Finders Keepers. I remember watching that:

It's so wonderful to find these shows again, it's like finding an old friend.

I remember another show. I don't think it was a Nick program, but I have memories of a kid's game show where the contestants showed off their inventions. One time someone invented a curtain to go over a TV screen during commericals (Heh, now they have the Mute button and "Audio Only" option!)

But their was like a championship virsion that would come on ever year featuring the best contestants form the years past. And it had some ultimante virsion of the Carg. But I thing that that eventually put that one on the regular show.

Oh yeah, I used to watch Finders Keepers every day!I use to love the last round where they would run around the house. I uesd to love whenever someone would complet everythig!

It really is like finding an old friend.

I not sure if I have seen that program before. But I love that idea of a curtial to cover up the commercials, hehe! That is the sigh of a genious!

Hmm, making the kids do slimy stuff and crazy things before a viewing audience...and this is before Survivor.

I read about moon pies and their alternate names in one of my mom's cookbooks. Like I've said, I've never tried them...then again, I've never eaten Twinkies, Devil Dogs or 'smores. Mom would never allow them in her house; she hates anything with marshmallow filling...truth be told, I'm not exactly crazy about it either. I've only eaten my marshmallows toasted over a campfire or floating in my hot cocoa.

Whoa! You never eater a Smore, before? Thoes are so good to me and my tummy.

But kids were doing it in front of other kids who wanted to do what the kids who were doing it where doing, I think? I used to Love how "You Can't Do That On Televison" would pour slime over the persons head who said the word of the day. :zany:

By the wau, I forgot all abot Devil Dogs! But I'm very spicific about sncak sakes. More of a Little Debbie Guy myself instead of a Hostess and that kind thing. But I love thoses little cup cakes with the cream filling, though!

Wow, honestly I can't imagine never having had a s'more... I love those things!

Yeah Erin, I thought about Survivor too, but I think these shows were so much better than that show, and much more fun to watch! Easier to get into and enjoy, too. At least it definitely seems that way to me!

That is really funny... just the other day, I got those cupcakes for the first time in a loooong time, and they were even better than I remembered them being! I generally always give in when it comes to cute little snacks like those!
