Aw, heh thanks. ::shrugs:: Well I like being an expert on things I enjoy. It's the researcher in me.

Not in an obsessive way, more like in a harmless fan way (Oh God, I sound like Buffy!).

No, I'm with ya, heralde. I love being an expert on things that I enjoy, too. If I really like something, I'll pay so much attention to it, it's crazy.

Hello. I'm off to school. I'm back, my secretary has been fired. She was supposed to tell you that I had a "dental appointment", not "ran away muttering something about conspirators" which is NOT what I was doing.

Ooh Muppet Newsgirl, you mentioned Steve Irwin. Did you know that in Australia, they found ten mutilated sting rays cause of rully angry fans?
Oh arn't you a luck girl MBM. You get to go to school!  While I'm at home on school holidays, heh heh. Nah... just kidding!
BTW, the thing about the sting-rays is true! And in aus it's currently one of the most hated things, lol, true! I know, I'm an aussie, mate! I don't know what our Steve would've made of the ray thingthough. It's barbaric but it was pretty funny when I first heard it. His funeral's on today, actually,

Ugh, you get a holiday. I wish I had a holiday. This stupid homework is keeping me up. Surprisingly, I frankly do not care about whether Block Grants or Categorical Grants were more dominant in the 1800s. I really, really don't.

You did lose a major celebrity, so I guess you deserve a nice holiday, I suppose.

And I could really use a holiday right about now...I'm gonna be ripped by the time this semester's over.

I also kind of noticed that you can tell who's playing what Muppet by studying their arm and hand movements. You notice that Scooter and a lot of Richard's other characters often tilt their heads to one side a little bit, and nod their heads from time to time, that sort of thing. So you can tell by listening to the voice but also by studying the mannerisms and all that, I guess.

Oh yes, definately! i'm actually watching it on the telly now. yeah, It's a bit of a shame that he's dead. he was a true aussie icon. :sympathy:
peter brock also died the same week as Irwin. Do you guys know him? He's a racer and a very much loved person here in Aus and yet another significant icon. It's rully weird, my dad -who works with cars and engerneering and stuff like that- knew peter and he says practically everyone he (my dad) has worked with had some connection with him. Like, he knew everyone! yet another tragic death. His funeral was yesterday. :frown:
