I hadn't heard about it until I looked at your blog, Buck, but it sounds pretty funny. It looks like the puppet was knit. Is that true?

Nigel Plaskitt is the principal performer. The puppet was made by Paul Jomain.

It could have been knit, but probably made from actual socks.

Having seen the puppet I don't think it was made from real socks. Machine knitted perhaps? It was very well made, with a lot of weighty stuffing to keep shape.
