I'm glad you posted here again, and that you're back - after the other post you obviously went back to bed for several days lol. At least, I hope you did. You might not feel 100% for a little while yet -- that thing you had was bad news. Make sure you still get sleep for awhile. I know I sound like a Mom here but I don't care. Glad you're okay; strep and its Leetle Germy Friends can be quite dangerous.

Aww, poor Cory....I'd offer you a hug if I weren't scared of getting your germs, (figure THAT one out, folks), so how 'bout some tea instead?

Eek!! That sounds like a really pesky bug you caught! I am glad you are recovering and feeling better now. Keep on resting and drink as much as you can (especially with the antibiotics).

Hey, beaker, this is not cool, the thing should be dead and receding by now. Ask whomever is treating you about Doxycycline, will you? That's the B-52 bomber of antibiotics and you may need a long course of it. It outperforms penicillin for some patients.

DO something, dear. DO NOT let it go any longer. It may or may not be strep any longer, may be other Germy Friends. But, beaker, strep can permanently damage the heart, among other things, please do something about it lol, you're making me crazy now.

In 2000 I was sick all year long with strep throat and cold/flu symptoms; had my tonsils whacked out and now I'm all good--except for sinuses from allergy problems, but I'm not having my nose whacked off! Even if it IS to spite my face...
