Guys...why does Pallisades never want to make the regular Rowlf and the regular Sam the Eagle figures?

Regular Sam and Rowlf will be released in a future series (likely in 2004). They are trying to ensure the longevity of the line be spacing them out some.

I'm pretty sure it's because they are mean and evil and want to hurt all Muppet fans in every way possible.

That and the fact that they want this line to last as long as possible by holding key characters until later series to keep up consumer demand for the product.

But mostly it's just the first thing I said.

No, I apologize. My pronoun was ambiguous. I meant "they" as in the Palisades team. Not as in Sam and Rowlf.

It's just like Stuntman Gonzo being released first instead of Regular Tux Gonzo, or the crew of Pigs in Space being released before the Swinetrek set with Piggy. Or the placement of Janice in series 5 instead of 4. Good choice, marketing-wise.

I would NEVER survive Statler AND Waldorf being put in seperate series tho

Yes i would think that Statler and Waldorf would sell better togther in the same series. I have a feeling about the purple tux gonzo and stunt gonzo that because Pallisades was doing research on the muppets and the figured a Gonzo with cape and cannon was a reg Gonzo, I mean it's what make's gonzo, gonzo anyway's. if the tux came out first we would all still want some type of stunt gonzo. it fit's his character of course, also Tux Gonzo was never really planed before the stunt gonzo, it just came out unlike Rowlf and Sam who were switch once they got the right's to the movies and such.

Zack)Rowlf the, No Rowlf's not evil...Sam may seem Evil, but that's only because he rarely like's what's going on.;-)Dog.

Purple suit Gonzo has come on a lonnnnng way from stunt Gonzo. I'm very glad it's come later as they are learning from experience - how to make better Muppet likenesses, who to choose to sculpt/paint a certain characeter. If he came out earlier he might not have been as good. Although Stunt Gonzo was ok, and would have been better if the factory didn't mess up the paint job, i think the suited Gonzo was always going to be the fan favorite.

being somewhat disappointed in daredevil gonzo, I'm really glad to hear that...I just hope they fixed the proportions on his head/eyes...that's the part that bugs me the most, way more than the paint scheme...
