I don't remember Scooter playing any guitar in TMS

Just the one number, "Six String Orchestra", in which Scooter fantasizes about being a music star, and he's joined in the choruses by the Electric Mayhem.

I think Clifford was intended to be part of the band longer. I always felt that in "The Muppets Celebrate Jim Henson", he was still technically meant to be part of the band. And I know that there was at least one publicity photo of Clifford with the EM taken around this time.

I will have to agree with what other members have said; although he's only done it three or four time to my knowledge, I like when Scooter plays with the EM. In TMM, he was part of the chorus of "Can You Picture That" and also played both the tambourine and a güiro (Mexican percussion instrument) at different parts of the song. And let's not forget "Six-string Orchestra" and "Mr. Bassman" from TMS.
