Yes for Yes! I love Time And A Word, the way the orchestrations blend with the guitar parts are killer. Best songs are the title track and "Astral Traveller", IMO.

When were the Muppets ever a comic STRIP? Comic books, I know, but comic STRIPS?

Early 80's. Done by Guy and Brad Gilchrist. It would have been higher on the list if the entire run was as good as its early years but the writing got more generic as the strip went on and the art more simplistic.

Okay, that would explain why I'm not familiar with a Muppets comic strip: I was in Nashville in the early 80s, plus I wasn't born yet.

The reason it wasn't higher on my list of the best comic strips is because when I think of the Muppets, I usually don't think of the comic strip (as far as licensed products go I very likely think of the Palisades figures and Boom comic books before thinking of the strip). Also, I didn't grow up with the strip; I have one of the comic book collections and have read other Muppet comic strips online (most notably the ones chosen for Tough Pigs' anthology on the comics), as well as the one shown in Jim Henson: The Works.

Yeah, I think the last strip had to do with the geekier fan learning the news that the Henson children bought back the company. I think I read on the forum that there were plans for a great series of strips, can't remember what was actually said (at the time I had the feeling it was something like them being at Muppetfest, but I think that was just an assumption).
