I watched the end, I got home too late to watch the whole thing. I've got a bit of a crush on him. Not when he's all mean on the show, have you ever heard him talk with his British accent? Ok, enough gush, but seriously, I think this season will be different and maybe it will shake things up a bit to have some new people in there. You never know.

Okay, it's not so much I don't like the show, but am I the only one that prefers Hugh Laurie's earlier comedic works? I mean, i just simply loved him as the vain, stupid, foppish Prince in Black Adder the third.

Of course, maybe that's why i can't watch House. I just keep thinking of that character and it ruins it for me.

I gotta admit one other thing, English actors always portray US characters as very surley. I found it hillarious that Mark Addy used the exact same accent and character as he did when he played Fred Flintstone in Viva Rock Vegas as he would later use in Still Standing.

I love Hughs earlier work! Blackadder is one of my all time favorite shows!

The season premire was really good, I cannot wait to see how the intern thing pans out.

I'm a big fan of Hugh Laurie, especially his earlier works. My favorite is A Bit of Fry and Laurie, a BBC comedy sketch series that ran between 1989 and 1995. Hugh and comic partner Stephen Fry wrote and performed this classic show. The two later teamed up for Jeeves and Wooster, another comedy series. A highlight of A Bit of Fry and Laurie was when Hugh would sing one of his parody songs:

Yeah! The only thing in my my when seeing an episode of still standing is Fred Flintstone. That's All I can think of. Even before I put two and tow together and found out that he really was Fred Flinstone. That show was just a bad vision of the Flintstones whenever I think about it.
