As far as restaurant cole slaw goes, I'd say KFC (yes, KFC) has slaw that's the most consistently good . . . Cracker Barrel has some decent slaw as well, but surprisingly, they never really season it, so I find I have to really add a lot of salt to it.

'Kay....now we're out here talking about cole slaw.
I agree that cole slaw should NOT have too much vinegar. It needs some crunch, but also some creaminess too. Carrots, cabbage, celery, vinegar, and mayo have to be combined at just the right amount.

And real quick about hot dogs: I like nearly all the toppings! I'll go for ketchup, mustard, relish, chili, and occasionally sauerkraut if it's available and I'm in the mood for it. My favorite is the classic Chicago beef hot dog...it has yellow mustard, chopped white onions, a dill pickle spear, tomato slices, celery salt, pickled sport peppers, and relish that's greener than Oscar the Grouch's fur.

Funny how this went from "The What Made You Smile Today? Thread" to "The Food Porn Thread."
