Can now say my blood pressure is officially within the normal range again!

I'm still going to lose a couple more pounds to get it down a little lower (it was 119/75), but none the less, I am very happy to see this reading.

Changing my diet and losing weight has certainly saved my life (literally!).

I watched a YouTube playlist of all the different international Sesame Street theme songs this evening because I wanted to see what my favorite childhood show looks like around the world. While all of them were cute and charming, my favorite was probably the Indian one. I don't know, something about it just seemed exceptionally adorable even by Sesame Street standards. I think it's a mix between the beautiful music and the brief clip of a little girl hugging one of the Indian Muppets with a look of pure happiness on her face that made it stand out to me:

My insurance representative may have finally found me a new plan he could get me on where I would only have to pay $60 a month . . . that was more than the $20 Humana plan I was paying last year, but it's a whole lot better than the $536 BCBS was wanting from me!

Not only that, but because I'm now my mom's full-time live-in caretaker, there's also a possibility I could be eligible for "Obamacare."
