Yes, Pepe is funny and easy to write for and he steals the show. But they are called them uppets, not the Pepes. I liked him in MFS and AVMMC, but Rowlf has been silent for so long just as Dr. Teeth has and the entire EM. Maybe one of Pepe's scenes could have been cut to make room for the EM's scene. When other characters that haven't had a scene in years get cut so Pepe can have yet another scene, then he is being over used.

They did have a scene with the Electric Mayhem in IAVMMCM, but it was axed because of the whole Snoop Dogg thing. It's also difficult to include the Mayhem in some of the newer productions because of the fact that most of the characters have not had main puppeteers over the last ten years (with the exception of Zoot and Floyd). Zoot doesn't say too much and **both Frank and Jerry seems to have limited their time to the Muppets since Muppets Tonight. So I guess what I'm saying is that until the characters are taken on by more permanent replacement puppeteers, they won't be used too much (which is why their presence has been lacking since both Jim and Richard passed away).

I think the scene was really cut for time. I mean, why censor a scene because of Snoop Dog? Also, now the characters all have performers. I don't see why they couldn't have had something to do in MFS besides be in the back. Dr. Teeth had a perfromer at the time, and still does. Animal was in the movie, Dave has Zoot who could atleast do something like play chase music. Jerry has a lot to do with Muppets Tonight and could have done Floyd in the back, or even have Floyd lead the MT band.

There are places to put these characters, and now that they all have performers, they should be used.

Because he killed somebody. (he was found not guilty criminally but found guilty in civil court. same deal as OJ Simpson... he's not in jail because he has money.)

Was he killing someone on TV? Did he wave a gun around with the muppets? No? So, why censor someone because they were accussed of killing someone, but not convicted? In the United States, a man is inocent until proven guiltty. You condem the man for what reason? If a family member were accussed of murder, but not convicted would you hold the same stance? I doubt it.

Let's try not to judge people based on alleged happenings and certainly let's not start censoring means of expressions becuase someone may, or may not, have killed someone in a unrelated incident.

Erm he was found guilty in civil court, just like OJ. The scene wasn't cut for time, that was just a way of cutting him out without him being able to take any legal action back at Henson or NBC. His reputation changed somewhat post-filming and pre-broadcast, someone with even a hint of that has no place on a show watched by children. Snoop was paid, and Henson chose not to use the footage so in no way was he persecuted.

I never knew that, I thoght Snoop Dog was cut out of the movie because he wanted to do porn. At least, that's what Kermit said in the Craig Kilborn interview.
