I went & watched the new Muppet movie today, and when I got to the theater, I had plenty of time to wait until the next show (which was 12:35 PM my time). This is the first time I literally sat down to a good movie in ages. It was hilarious! I love that one part where Ms. Piggy is singing to that disco tune, and a few other parts of the movie that I thought were fantastic. I'll tell you more later.

You know i have to agree with you the movie was wonderful but i have to say that i have one thing that made me a little sad i wish tehre had been more of pepe and rizzo ( sorry if i spelled those names wrong ) . other than that one thing the movie was so good with a lot of comedy and so much good muppet fun . I am so glad there is not so much good muppet movies out there love them all so much and could never get tired of any of them . Love the way that they intoduced walter he is such a great muppet . I look forward to more things with walter .

If anyone bothered reading my review, which apparently they haven't since Phil or Ed or whoever moved the thread out of the Muppet Headlines board into the On the Web board where it's gone un-nticed, for me one of the thrills was actually seeing David Rudman and Matt Vogel do some Muppet work outside SST again... I used to wonder why David ended up being used exclusively to SST for a while when it seemed like some of his more versatile performances have been outside SST (let's face it, aside from Cookie Monster, all of his characters seem so Baby Bearish): Miss Poogy was a great character, and he was also fantastic at bringing the likes of Scooter and Janice back to life; meanwhile, Matt did an excellent job with Floyd and Uncle Deadly (his Lew Zealand needed a little work though).

One thing I have been thinking about (after I wrote my review) is that I rully like the opening montage of home movies and such, and seeing how once Walter got hooked on the Muppets, every year, he had a Muppet-themed birthday party, and always got something Muppety for his presents, even something simple like the Kermit watch always brought a huge smile to his face... now those are excellent kind of birthday parties! I even felt for him when those older kids made fun of him for his homemade Kermit Halloween costume.
