True Blue Miracle
Mokey: I believe in miracles and I can tell you why.
Red: Once a year, the street I live on sparkles like the sky
Both: all hung with lights for Christmas, twinkling everywhere.
The world turns bright for Christmas
Mokey: and if that isn't a true blue miracle, I don't know one is.
Scooter: I believe in miracles, I know because I've seen.
Kermit: Once a year, the place I walk is filled with trees of green
Both: and pine cone smells of Christmas floating through the air
to "Jingle Bells" of Christmas
Scooter: and if that isn't a true blue miracle, I don't know what one is.
Muppets: But the greatest wonder of them all is not what's happening around you, it's the way you start to be.
Yes, the greatest wonder of them all is how your heart is filled with love, you start to light up like a Christmas tree.
Ma Otter: Feelings feel so wonderful, you have to let them show.
Emmet: Maybe that's why everyone begins to get a glow
Muppets: and fill their hearts with Christmas, spirit they can share.
That's the best part of Christmas
and if that isn't a true blue miracle, I don't know what one is.
Scooter and Red: And if that isn't a true blue miracle,
Muppets: I don't know what one is.

Very nice, vettech28! I love how The Muppet Show gang is all here with the Sesame Street gang, the Fraggle Rock gang and even the Emmett Otter's Jug-Band Christmas gang!
This has been fun reading so far. It feels like an expanded version of "A Muppet Family Christmas".
I particularly like including songs from so many of the different Muppet Christmas movies and specials, like "The Muppets Christmas Carol" and "Christmas Eve on Sesame Street". Any chance for some Emmett Otter songs and a John Denver appearance?

Sleigh Ride
Kermit: Just hear those sleigh bells jingling, ring-ring-ting-a-ling, too.
Come on, it's lovely weather for a sleigh ride together with you.
Fozzie: Outside, the snow is falling and friends are calling "Yoo-hoo!"
Come on, it's lovely weather for a sleigh ride together with you.
Elmo: Giddy up, giddy up, giddy up, let's go! Let's look at the show.
We're riding in a wonderland of snow.
Robin: Giddy up, giddy up, giddy up, it's grand just holding your hand.
Both: We're gliding along with a song of a wintry fairy land.
Gonzo: Our cheeks are nice and rosy and comfy cozy are we.
Big Bird: We're snuggled up together like two birds of a feather would be.
Grover: Let's take that road before us and sing a chorus or two.
Come on, it's lovely weather for a sleigh ride together with you.
Rowlf: There's a Christmas party at the home of Farmer Grey.
The Count: It'll be the perfect ending of a perfect day.
Wembley: We'll be singing the song we love to sing without a single stop
Oscar: At the fireplace where we'll watch the chestnuts pop.
All: Pop, pop, pop!
Bert: There's a happy feeling nothing in the world can buy
Ernie: when they pass around the chocolate and the pumpkin pie.
Gobo, Wembley,
Scooter and Grover: It'll nearly be like a picture print by Currier and Ives.
Robin: These wonderful things are the things we remember all through our lives.
Kermit and Robin: Just hear those sleigh bells jingling, ring-ting-ting-a-ling, too.
Come on, it's lovely weather for a sleigh ride together with you.

It's Christmas Again
Muppets: Hang a star upon the tree, it's Christmas again.
Candy canes for you and me, it's Christmas again.
With jingle bells and pine tree smells and peace on earth to men.
So wave the turkey leg on high, hooray for mince and pumpkin pie and Santa Claus up in the sky, it's Christmas again.
Robin: There's smiling Christmas faces and a lot of Christmas cheer.
Oscar: Yuck! Which really makes me grateful that it's only once a year.
Grover: Buy a Christmas sapling from a monster who is blue.
It will make you happier and I'll be happy, too.
Muppets: Hang the tinsel on the tree, it's Christmas again.
Candy canes for you and me, it's Christmas again.
Again, again, again, again, again, again, again.
They're putting toys on Santa's sleigh, today is just like yesterday 'cause Christmas hasn't gone away, it's Christmas again.
Cherry blossoms in the trees, it's Christmas again.
To ladybugs and bumblebees, it's Christmas again.
The birds of spring go caroling in every glade and glen.
The snow has melted clean away, there's only grass for Santa's sleigh and though it's very warm for May, it's Christmas once again.
It's Christmas again.

Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer
I think this song is definitely Muppet worthy!
Emmet: Hi, everyone!
Kermit: Hi, Emmet! Hello, boys!
(Everyone greets Emmet and his jug-band)
Scooter: What brings you guys here?
Emmet: We heard everybody singing so we thought we'd join in with a song of our own.
Fozzie: That's great! What is it?
Wendell: It's a song that we think you'll really like.
Gonzo: Well, what's the name of the song?
Charlie: It's called Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer.
Kermit: Hmm. I've never heard that one, but it sounds like an interesting song.
Harvey: Just listen and enjoy.
(Music starts)
Jug-band: Grandma got run over by a reindeer walkin' home from our house Christmas Eve.
You can say there's no such thing as Santa, but as for me and Grandpa, we believe.
Harvey: She'd been drinking too much eggnog and we begged her not to go.
But she forgot her hat and mittens as she walked out of the door into the snow.
When we found her Christmas morning at the scene of the attack,
she had hoofprints on her forehead and incriminating claw marks on her back.
Jug-band: Grandma got run over by a reindeer walkin' home from our house Christmas Eve.
You can say there's no such thing as Santa, but as for me and Grandpa, we believe.
Harvey: Now we're all so proud of Grandpa, he's been taking this so well.
He's been sittin' watching football, having fun and playing cards with Cousin Mel.
It's not Christmas without Grandma, all the family's dressed in black
and we just can't help but wonder, should we open up her gifts or send them back? (Send them back!)
Jug-band: Grandma got run over by a reindeer walkin' home from our house Christmas Eve.
You can say there's no such thing as Santa, but as for me and Grandpa, we believe.
Harvey: Now the goose is on the table and the pudding made of fig
and the blue and sliver candles that would've matched the hair in Grandma's wig.
I've warned all my friends and neighbors, "Better watch out for yourselves!"
They should never give a liscense to a man who drives a sleigh and plays with elves.
Jug-band: Grandma got run over by a reindeer walkin' home from our house Christmas Eve.
You can say there's no such thing as Santa, but as for me and Grandpa, we believe.
(Verse repeats, song ends)

Santa Claus is Coming To Town
Grover: What a terrific song! Oh, I just love the Christmas season.
Ernie: Why's that, Grover?
Grover: Well, everybody's together and we're all singing and everyone's so happy. But there's one more thing I like about Christmas.
Bert: What's that?
Grover: Well, I'll tell you...
Oh, you better watch out, you better not cry.
You better not pout, I am telling you why, Santa Claus is coming to town.
He is making a list, he is checking it twice.
He is going to find out who is naughty and nice, Santa Claus is coming to town.
He sees you when you are sleeping, he knows when you are awake.
He knows if you have been bad or good, so be good for goodness sake!
Oh, you better watch out, you better not cry.
You better not pout, I am telling you why, Santa Claus is coming to town.
Ok, Dr. Teeth, pick it up a little!
(Jazzy music plays)
Now, everybody sing along!
Kermit: He's got little tin horns and little toy drums.
Floyd: Hooty-toot-toots
Animal: and rumpy-tum-tums!
Muppets: Santa Claus is coming to town.
Ernie: With curly haired dolls that toddle and coo,
Bert: elephants,
Gonzo: boats,
Scooter: and kiddy cars, too.
Muppets: Santa Claus is coming to town.
Grover: Everyone, sing your little hearts out!
Muppets: The kids in girl and boy land will have a jubilee.
They're gonna build a toyland town all around the Christmas tree.
Oh, you better watch out, you better not cry.
You better not pout, I'm telling you why, Santa Claus is coming,
Santa Claus is coming,
Grover: Once more with feeling!
Muppets: Santa Claus is coming to town!
(Grover scats)
Muppets: Oh, Yeah!

Jingle Bell Rock
Dr. Teeth: All right, let's rock this holiday!
Animal: Rock and roll! Rock and roll!
(Rock and roll music starts)
Band: Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell rock.
Jingle bells swing and jingle bell ring.
Dr. Teeth: Snowin' and blowin' up bushels of fun.
Band: Now the jingle hop has begun.
Floyd: Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell rock.
Jingle bells chime in jingle bell time.
Dancin' and prancin' in jingle bell square in the frosty air.
Janice: What a bright time, it's the right time to rock the night away.
Jingle bell time, it's a swell time to go glidin' in a one horse sleigh.
Floyd: Giddy up, jingle horse, pick up your feet, jingle around the clock.
Band: Mix and mingle and a jingling beat, that's the jingle bell rock.
(Rock instrumental)

It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year
Gunge: Oh, boy! Look at all this stuff, Philo!
Philo: Yeah. Used wrapping paper, Christmas leftovers, torn ribbons and bows, everything we could ever want!
Gunge: That's why I love this time of year, all the trash we get after the holidays are over.
Philo: Yeah, but there's one thing I love about this time of year,
Gunge: What's that, pal?
Philo: Being with Marjory and you, my best friend.
Gunge: Aww. Thanks, Philo.
It's the most wonderful time of the year
with the kids jingle-belling and everyone telling you, "Be of good cheer".
It's the most wonderful time of the year.
Philo: It's the hap-happiest season of all
with those holiday greetings and gay happy meetings when friends come to call.
It's the hap-happiest season of all.
Gunge: There'll be parties for hosting, marshmallows for toasting and caroling out in the snow.
Philo: There'll be scary ghost stories and tales of the glories of Christmases long, long ago.
Both: It's the most wonderful time of the year.
There'll be much mistletoeing and hearts will be glowing when loved ones are near.

One More Sleep 'til Christmas
Kermit: There's magic in the air this evening, magic in the air.
The world is at her best, you know, when people love and care.
The promise of excitement is one the night will keep.
After all, there's only one more sleep 'til Christmas.
Robin: The world has got a smile today, the world has got a glow.
There's no such thing as strangers when a stranger says, "Hello!"
And everyone is family, we're having so much fun.
After all, there's only one more sleep 'til Christmas.
Kermit: 'Tis the season to be jolly and joyous with a burst of pleasure, we feel it arrive.
Robin: It's the season when the saints can employ us to spread the news about peace and to keep love alive.
Kermit: There's something in the wind today that's good for everyone.
Robin: Yes, faith is in our hearts today, we're shining like the sun.
Kermit: And everyone can feel it, the feeling's running deep.
Both: After all, there's only one more sleep 'til Christmas.
After all, there's only one more sleep 'til Christmas Day.

Sorry for the delay, I was traveling back home for Christmas and had to connect to the internet. So, let's get back to the story with:
Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas
Ernie: Merry Christmas, Bert.
Bert: Merry Christmas, Ernie. Boy, it sure is a lot of fun with everyone here, isn't it?
Ernie: It sure is, Bert. That's the nice thing about the holidays I love, everyone being together for Christmas.
Bert: Yeah.
Have yourself a merry little Christmas, let your heart be light.
Ernie: From now on, our troubles will be out of sight.
Bert: Have yourself a merry little Christmas, make the yuletide gay.
Ernie: From now on, our troubles will be miles away.
Both: Here we are as in olden days, happy, golden days of yore.
Bert: Faithful friends who are dear to us
Ernie: gather near to us once more.
Bert: Through the years, we all will be together if the fates allow.
Ernie: Hang a shining star upon the highest bough
Both: and have yourself a merry little Christmas now.
