The book probably just lists Kermit's first appearance as Sam and Friends, but wouldn't it be funny if the book actually listed an episode number for Kermit's first appearance? I doubt the archives would have that kind of information, and we wouldn't know anything about the episode by number (I doubt Kermit's debut is in any of the known surviving episodes).
