Good... Revised predictions are  for next week, May 9 2025; and :jim: for the week after that, May 16 2025.
Guess what! Your prediction for May 9th came true! We’ve got five characters originally performed by Jim Henson out of the way. That just leaves Waldorf, who I assume will be paired with Statler, Newsie the Newsman (that nickname Xerus coined back in 2005 really grew on me), and maaaybe Mahna Mahna (ever noticed he sounds a lot like Dr. Teeth?).

Week #39 - He was first conceived as the Crown-Grabber. He made appearances in the early years of Sesame Street as well as The Muppet Show. He’s also fuzzy and blue, but it’s neither Grover, Herry, nor Cookie.

Isn’t that BEAUTIFUL?
Today is the DAY
we celebrate a special kind of MONSTER.

Still predicting either  or :embarrassed: for this week's spotlight in honor of Frank Oz's birthday. :fanatic:

It’s a beautiful day (monster)
Don’t let it get away (monster)

I couldn’t pass up on this opportunity to make a reference to a U2 song.

For those who were wondering, Entry #40 has been revealed, and all I'll say is :grr: about it.

4/7 of showcased Muppets have been confirmed. It won’t be long before we see some fan content of Sweetums pop up. I’m most looking forward to cartoonist Dave Alvarez’s portrayal - every week, he usually uploads a Muppet illustration a few hours after the reveal.

Time to place yer bets! And by that, I mean time to predict who’s next.

To make things easier, let’s predict the performer who played/plays a certain Muppet. For example, if you guess it’s Dave Goelz and the character turns out to be Gonzo, Beauregard, Chip, or Waldorf (the latter of whom would likely be paired with Statler), you’d be correct.

Entry #41 has been revealed, it's another duo whose claim to fame can be summed up with the catch phrase: "This is too hard!" And BTW they're not cats, they're uh, dogs.

And wouldn’t you know? I correctly guessed one puppeteer responsible for performing one of them, specifically Randy.

Also, there’s another video showing Miss Piggy, displeased again about not being picked for a week that she thought was meant for her. First, there’s Valentine’s Day, taken by Polly Lobster, and now the end of May, taken by her nephews.

This just might become a running gag - I wonder if they’ll do it with Annie Sue and/or Denise. Think they’ll put Piggy in the 70th and final week?
