Sad to say it, but it very well might be a Monday night release. There's just SO MUCH STUFF to now sift through and make a show out of! I think I may even throw a special Unplugged song in there, one that Kevin told me Richard always loved.
Hey Steve, did you get my email about Beaker, and why I like him out of all the RH characters, and maybe even the Muppets in general? I sure hope you have the Gilda Radner audio from when Gilda and Beaky got close: "I've heard of close friends, but this is ridiculous!"
Yes, you're right, Count. I just got off the phone with Jane H.
Oh My God.
She was amazing. You'll know Richard better than you ever did by the time you're done listening to this tribute. We talked for over an hour, and all of it was incredible. There are some truly beautiful stories she told me, and some other ones where you'll almost howl with laughter!
I'll bet Jane was really flattered - after all, this is her son (well, one of them) we're talking about. Her flesh, blood and DNA.
Let's face it: there would not have been a Scooter, Janice, Beaker, etc. had it not been for Richard Hunt, and there would not have been a Richard (or Kate, Adam, Lyn and Rachel) had it not been for Jane and her husband, the other Richard.
Edit: Would ya look at that: I'm up to post #1992. How appropriate...
Hehe well with that from Uncle Deadly, I'll tell you that the whole bit there was taken from the Twiggy episode of TMS season one. That was the same episode in which we were treated to the Phantom of the Muppet Theater. Which turned out to be dear old Deadly.
I knew that it was from the same episode. I just noticed that the clip started with Kermit asking a question from that sketch before switching to another scene, before goingto Gonzo's introduction of that scene. I wondered if thatw as intentional (maybe a "Paul is dead" refference).
Hey m_m, I just went back and listened to it. You're right, I had a little bit of "extra" audio in there. Well, as someone once said, there are no mistakes, only happy accidents, lol.
